With the Professional “S” range, Henckels have recently changed their manufacturing techniques to a slicker, more environmentally friendly way of forging. This new process has a number of benefits; it uses far less energy than traditional methods and produces a significantly cleaner, improved steel structure with higher stability which results in less metal fatigue, for a longer lasting knife.

Henckels knives are made from ice hardened, high carbon stainless steel and are weighted towards the blade tip to aid with the chopping action.
