If you're an enthusiastic baker then don't think twice about buying Silverwood's anodised aluminium range. This costs around 40% more than quality non-stick but will last for ever. This is serious stuff, used by most celebrity chefs and by all our staff. It offers by far the widest choice and is our best selling range but be careful, Silverwood pans are addictive. They won't warp or buckle and have extremely good heat distribution, which means they also bake quicker than other tins. We stock the tins with removable bottoms which have a flat base and large lip so even a runny mixture will not leak. Silverwood recommend that you don't cut in these tins, as it will mark them. However, any damage caused by cutting is largely cosmetic and barely affects performance.

Non-stick is less expensive, although also less durable than anodised pans. Despite the ‘non-stick’ tag we still recommended that you line it. If you’re an occasional baker, then don’t spend more and choose our non-stick range, “Quantum” from Bennett. This is a superior non-stick, which is guaranteed for 5 years – as long as you read their instructions and handle it with care (no attacking it with a knife!).
