The Venice range of cookware from GreenPan can be used on any type of hob, including induction. It features GreenPans patented ceramic Thermolon non-stick coating, which does not contain any chemicals and is PFOA free. This coating can withstand extremely high temperatures (up to 450°C/850°F) without releasing toxic fumes and without suffering deterioration. It is also a great heat conductor and can help to reduce your cooking time and therefore save energy. This Venice Casserole has an extra thick base for even heat distribution so you wont get any hot spots or burnt bits. The grey aluminium body is extremely durable and the whole pan is very easy to clean it can actually go in the dishwasher (although it is recommended that you wash it by hand). The handles are made from hollow stainless steel which minimises heat transfer and they are riveted for extra strength. Since they are made from stainless steel they are oven safe so you can use this Venice Casserole to cook on the hob or bake in the oven.

Before First Use:
Remove all packaging materials and labels
Wash in warm soapy water; rinse and dry thoroughly with a soft cloth

Recommendations to prevent the warping of your GreenPan:
Never leave an empty pan on a hot burner. Doing so can permanently damage your pan and stovetop
Do not allow the pan to boil dry
Do not put hot cookware under cold water. Allow the cookware to cool completely

Tips:
Some oils and fats burn at lower temperatures. Use oils and fats that have a high smoke point, like refined olive oil, peanut oil, corn oil and (clarified) butter. Do not use extra virgin olive oil as it cannot withstand high heating and will leave a thin carbonized layer on the nonstick
Because of the excellent heat conductivity of the pan and the Thermolon layer, food and oil can carbonize very rapidly. Always cook on low to medium heat and only use high heat for searing or browning
Do not use any type of oil sprays, including aerosols, mist, and pump sprays. These sprays cause residue build-up that is difficult to remove from all types of cookware
If food slightly sticks to the pan during cooking, add a small amount of water. Adding moisture will create a burst of steam that will release any remaining food
Never use metal utensils on any non-stick surface. Plastic, rubber or wooden utensils are recommended to prolong the life of the pan
