Reigate team boost the Black Horse Ride raffle!

The Black Horse Bike Ride took place on May 19th this year to help raise funds for two very worthy charities - Sutton & Croydon Multiple Sclerosis Therapy Centre and The RNLI Reigate and Redhill branch.

The Sutton & Croydon MS Therapy Centre was founded in 1992 to assist and aid people living with MS.  It is open 4 days per week, Monday to Thursday and offers a valuable drop in service where people living with MS can meet like minded people and receive a variety of therapies including physiotherapy, massage, yoga and counselling.

The Royal National Lifeboat Institution provides an on call, 24 hour lifeboat search and rescue service and saves lives at sea.  Since it was founded in 1884 its lifeboats and, since 2001, its lifeguards have saved over 140,000 lives.  Their vision is to end preventable loss of life at sea.

93 sponsored cyclists took part and rode 13 and 36 mile routes.  As well as the bike ride a raffle was held to raise additional funds and the team at our Reigate shop were more than happy to donate a prize to help raise money for these charities and the amazing work they do.  And we were so pleased to find out that the raffle alone raised £910.  Last years bike ride raised £13,000 and this years ride is on track to match that amount, so a massive well done to everybody involved!
